1. Eligibility to enter the competition

• Open to aspiring music artists aged 18+ (minors require parental consent).

• Employees of DigiMuzik Africa, affiliates, or immediate family are also eligible.

2. How to Enter

Monthly Submission Window: Entries open on the 1st and close on the last day of each month (11:59 SAST).

  Go to www.digimuzik.africa. On the homepage, look for the “No Man’s Track Challenge” banner.

• Click the Banner
  When you click on the banner, you’ll be redirected to the “form-completion page where you will be required to provide your basic information for enlistment as a competitor.

• Competition Rules page
  On click the “Enter The Competition” button, you will now be redirected to our official Competition page. This page has all the details you need.

• Read the Competition Rules
  Before you begin, make sure to review the rules and guidelines. This ensures a fair and fun competition for everyone.

3. Submission Requirements

• Vocals must match the original song’s key, tempo, and structure.

• No profanity, hate speech, or copyrighted material (outside the provided track).

• Your polished vocal that matches the original song must be submitted via email: jongionline@gmail.com

• Disqualification for:

  • Plagiarism, AI-generated vocals, or third-party submissions.

  • Technical errors (e.g., corrupted files, misformatted tracks).

4. Judging & Voting

• Criteria:

  • Vocal Quality (pitch, tone, clarity).

  • Creativity (interpretation, emotional delivery).

  • Technical Mastery (timing, synchronization with instrumental).

• Judging panel includes industry professionals. Public voting may influence results (if applicable).

5. Prizes

• Winner(s) will:

  • Have their vocals synced to the original instrumental and published on popular streaming platforms (e.g., Spotify) for free, and you’ll be credited as the artist.

  • The winner will be notified via email within 7 days of the contest closing.

  • We’ll announce the winner on our website and social media channels, after we have notified the winner.

  • Be credited as the “Featured Artist” on the track.
  • Receive 50% royalties from streams/sales (terms outlined in a separate contract).
  • Next Month’s Challenge: Don’t worry if you miss this month—there will be a new track and new chances to shine every month!

6. Intellectual Property

• Participants retain rights to their vocals but grant DigiMuzik:

  • A non-exclusive license to use submissions for promotional purposes.

• Winners transfer exclusive rights to their vocals for synchronization with the original track.

• Original song rights remain with the copyright holder (credited appropriately).

7. Liability & Disclaimers

• DigiMuzik is not responsible for:

  • Lost submissions, technical errors, or internet failures.

  • Misuse of participant data (see Privacy Policy).

• DigiMuzik reserves the right to disqualify entries or cancel the contest at its discretion.

8. Publicity

• By entering, participants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes.

9. Amendments

• Rules may be updated at any time. Changes will be posted on https://digimuzik.africa/competition-rules-no-mans-track-challenge/

10. Governing Law

• Governed by the relevant laws of South Africa. Disputes resolved via arbitration.
